Via Veneto hotels & places to stay

Very small triple room, about 10m2 for 3 beds, no free space at all. They add an extra bed to a double room to get the triple room. They declare 16m2 for this room but actually there are only 10m2 for room and 3m2 for the bathroom. There was a very creaky big bed with holes in the sheets. The mattress of the extra bed was covered by a plastic bag that was not comfortable. The guardrails of the balcony were broken so it was not safe especially for kids. The shutters were broken. The staff didn't know that the room was prepaid. The bill was smaller by about 25$ then we paid via Agoda. That's very strange.

Close to Termini Station, we were pleasantly surprised by this cozy B&B with such a warm and friendly staff. Chatting to the family was one of the highlights of my trip, which is even more impressive what with all there is to do in Rome. Very clean, very comfortable beds, and a small balcony area. It's very close to Via Veneto and a huge fantastic park. Will definitely stay there again!

Excellent location. Easy to get from the bus stop. Could even have walked from Roma Termini if it weren't so late. The check-in was excellent. There is a really good panino joined nearby if you are hungry. The check-in was excellent. Excellent staff. They should work on retaining them. The bed was good, but a bit soft. Not good after a long day of walking. Should be firmer. The elevator wasn't working so we got a room on the lower level. The room was nice, good size and well maintained overall. The bathroom was a bit small. The shower was excellent though. A bit cramped but excellent. The breakfast was excellent. Nice polite people and good breakfast. While the location and the hotel is excellent other than the small size, it can do with the right advertisement. The room being shown is not the room you get. It is a quiet part of town and not much to walk around to. Overall for Rome I would suggest something closer to the Vatican or and 1 km towards the Vatican from this hotel. Good experience though I would definitely recommend.

This was my first bed and breakfast ever, I was always skeptical to stay in them, but my opinion has changed since l'incanto di Roma. Laura, the wonderful lady host of this B&B was very pleasant, very helpful and very accommodating, you forget that you are in a hotel. Thank you so much Laura for a very pleasant experience, you gained yourself a loyal customer and I will tell everyone about your place.

First when I walked into the building, I thought it would be like one of those old small hostel all around Europe. It wasn't a proper hotel really but to my surprise. I was really happy with this place while we were staying there for 4 nights. Our double standard room was value for money, it was spacious and quiet with a nice comfortable bed, nice shower and very good air-conditioning unit. It was newly renovated, everything were still at good condition. It is not too far from REPUBBLICA or TERMINI metro station. Around 8-12 mins by foot. Staff were friendly and politely. Lots of restaurant nearby. I would go back to stay there if I ever have another holiday in Rome again.

wonderful small hotel in great area of rome. our room, 204, was very attractive with fabulous verandah. front desk always helpful and recommendation of area restaurants spot on. was afraid that location was too far out of center but found it ideal--away from tourist swarms but convenient to everything. nearby non-tourist restaurants were wonderful, supermarket almost next door. quiet, upscale neighborhood a couple of blocks from via veneto. negatives--terrible breakfast--canned orange juice, packaged white bread the only available (other than rolls and packaged croissants)in wonderful bread italy. wifi worked beautifully in lounge but sporadically in room. all in all a wonderful hotel,elegant decor, good a.c., nice, well equipped bathroom, clean, good lighting plus helpful staff. would love to stay there again

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights while in Rome on holiday. Because both of us had a lot of agoda points we made 2 seperate consecutive bookings, when checking in this was not a problem and we got the same room for 4 nights. Also the staff was very helpful to provide some tips on how to get around Rome, since it was our first time there. The hotel itself is basic, but very nice and with a very clean bathroom. The location is not bad with multiple bus stops around the hotel going all kinds of places in Rome. There are also a few restaurants/cafes around to get breakfast and/or dinner.

Me and my friend traveled to Rome, and the hotel was right near Termini, at the republica station. It's very near everything. 5 minutes walk to termini, about 10 to piazza Venezia. And 10 to 15 minutes to Fontana do Trevi. It was a really clean hotel, great personal. They help you with anything question you have. Don't believe so much when people write "all the tourist attraction are far away". Because they are not, first night in 3 hours vi saw 3 attractions, Colosseum, Fontana do Trevi, Piazza Venezzia. I really recommend to get a map, make a list of what you want to see and then just walk around the city. If you are going to the Vatican, take the metro, it's takes like 5-10 minutes from termini.

The stay at Hotel Giotto Flavia was good and value-for-money. Despite it not being extremely close to the attractions, it is a ~15mins walk about from Roma Termini and a less-than-5mins walk away from the closest Metro station (Republica). We decided to walk to Colosseum/Roman Forum anyway and it took us ~20-30mins to get there. The walk, however, was rather enjoyable as the weather was great and we passed by a couple of interesting sights along the way. Along Via Flavia (the street along which the hotel is located), there are a few lovely restaurants and pizzerias, though the closest supermarkets can only be found at Roma Termini. Breakfast -comprising of coffee, croissants, hard-boiled eggs, salami and cheese bread, toasts and fruit punch- is served between 8am-10am and will be brought to you by the lady receptionist. One thing however: As the hotel shares the same building as a couple other hotels, locating Hotel Giotto Flavia proved to be quite challenging when we had first arrived in Via Flavia. The Hotel is located on the 2nd floor and the signs are quite inconspicuous if you're not paying close attention. The room itself was quite spacious, clean, and has a high ceiling. The shower, however, was a little small. On the whole, we would recommend Hotel Giotto Flavia to those who are looking for a relatively inexpensive stay in Rome.

Upon arrival we were quickly checked in and the room surpassed expectations. Not only was it delightfully clean and modern with a variety of amenities the bed was so soft and comfortable. The bathroom is very sleek and modern and I would consider it large for 2 people using it. The location is 15 minutes from the nearest metro and while this seems suitable it can be considered an inconvenience if you are used to better transport links. However the hotel is situated near fantastic amenities such as a local supermarket, 2 cafes (1 is where you eat breakfast however we tried the other which is next door to the hotel due to the original being closed on Sunday's - we were not made aware of this) and a local petrol station. The breakfast is simple but delightful all the same. As the hotel does not have breakfast facilities if you do book for breakfast included (would highly recommend for only a little extra) you receive tokens for a near cafe for a croissant and a cappuccino (this is not set in stone - we had tea, orange juice and different pastries on different days). The pastries are very tasty, service very fast, orange juice fresh and overall an enjoyable way to start the day for only a little extra on price. The hotel itself is situated in an old New York style apartment block complete with old fashioned lift and has rooms on a couple of floors. These rooms are meticulously clean however the walls between bedrooms are incredibly thin so conversations, music and other noises do travel although the TV and fantastic wifi can deal with this. The wifi is super fast and reliable however the TV while being installed with a sky box only has a very limited number of channels due to improper installation. Be aware not everything may be available. We deliberately booked a double deluxe for the extra room and whirlpool bath that was promised however this was not delivered. Negatives: - no bath - lack of sound proofing - shower temperamental with pressure and temperature

It's a little bit hard to find the place because it has a quite small door. The hotel has a small lift which can fit in about two people with their luggage. The room was clean and comfortable, but the toilet was a little small. The staff was very attentive and they offer hot water in the bar. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel is about 10min walking to the republicaa metro station and 15min-20min walk to the termini. There are about three bus lines to termini very near the hotel as well.

We had a great stay at La House. This is a small B & B that is quite new. The rooms are fresh and modern, and very clean (the cleaner was very thorough). The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful in all our interactions. Breakfast was included at a cafe on the corner just a few metres away. We liked the area, which was quiet in the evenings and about a 15 min walk to the Spanish Steps. All in all a great find and very good value. We will stay again on our next trip to Rome!

The room was very nice, very 'european' an stylish. The bed was also great. The room in general was very good but there was some minor issues. The room was too dark. The ceilings were very high which was great, but there wasn't very good lighting so it made the room seem very dark. The bathroom sink's faucet was annoying. The water either came out really strongly and sprayed everywhere, or had to be turned to a really light level that was...unsatisfying. The air conditioner at times was very loud. Sometimes it would just start clicking for a few minutes. The final minor issue would be the 'do not disturb' sign. Even with the 'do not disturb' sign up someone still came into the room and cleaned. It is not a major issue but it just bothered me that the sign was ignored. None of these are major issues. The staff were perfectly was fine, it's only a few minutes walk from termini station, the room looked great and only the bathroom faucet and air conditioner were mildly annoying. If you don't mind surprised spraying from a bathroom sink and infrequent clicking (maybe 1-2 times throughout an evening) this is a perfectly fine place to stay. I wouldn't mind staying here again though it wouldn't be at the top of my list.

This is a cozy little place in the heart of Rome. Just beside the US Embassy, close to a taxi stop, and near Via Veneto. Loved the spacious room size and the large balcony windows. Not really a 4,star hotel in my opinion though. A couple of things were disappointing though: 1. Difficult to find , This so,called "hotel" is in a building where other offices and apartments are. There's not even a sign on the building that shows Roma Boutique Hotel. No lobby on the ground floor. It's like 25 cute rooms on a random building. 2. Located on the 4th and 5th floor , Lugging around your suitcase and belongings to the 5th floor front desk then down to the 4th floor where our rooms were in the extremely tiny elevator and lots of stairs is NOT a great experience. They don't even have anyone to assist with your luggage! 3. Breakfast exactly the same every day , This gets really annoying by the 3rd day. 4. Must leave keys with the front desk everytime you leave the hotel , Persnally I find this to be such a hassle. Also, the locks of the doors are hard to open. 5. Bathroom amenities , Didn't like any of the bathroom amenities. Shampoo and body wash smelled bad, did not have conditioner or Q,tips.

the hotel is just on one of the floors (a different hotel on each floor) and the reception downstairs doesn't necessarily say which hotel it is looking after. But once checked in and inside the room, you get all you need for your money, a comfy bed a clean shower/toilet. The double bed room is big enough to store your stuff and to get a good sleep. The rest of the day you'd be outside exploring Rome anyway, right. The hotel is walking (10-12 min.) distance from the railway station. The breakfast was OK, a lot of sweet pastries. There's a grocery store around the corner. Just ask staff at the hotel if unsure. Everything in this area is on the same level as The Villa Borghese park so the rest of the town is down below the hill from there.

After an early morning and grappling with the airport taxis, we arrived a little dazed, but were greeted by Marco at the desk, who’s charm and wit cheered us up and made us feel welcome immediately. The room was perfect for us. The bathroom was nice, and had an impressive shower, there was a walk in wardrobe, and the bedroom was a good size too. We used it as a base, and as we had chosen the hotel for it’s location, we were pleased that the only things outside of walking distance were the Vatican and the Colloseum/Forum, but easily enough accessed via the Metro (Barberini). We found the spa was perfect for relaxing after a hard day touristing, it has a 6m x 6m whirlpool and a sauna (and a gym which we ignored). The bar was lovely, and though pricey, the service was excellent, with complimentary nuts and crisps brought to your table. We also had dinner at the Roseto hotel restaurant on our first night, which was superb, and not too expensive. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain, a stunning boutique hotel. The hotel is quite Art Deco, the staff are lovely and welcoming, right from the moment arrived to booking a taxi when leaving. Upgraded on arrival to a deluxe so the room was exceptionally spacious, clean tidy and ideal for lounging (if you get chance) after a busy day exploring the city. The breakfast was always fully stocked with a good variety of pastries, cereal, meat and cheeses and a hot selection, and with it being an independent hotel always felt the staff were attentive. The only call out is for any travellers who have walking difficulties as the hotel is at the top of a hill but would definitely recommended and go back.

The stay in the hotel was perfect for us as you can go to many monuments of interest in the city by foot, and you have a bus/subway stop nearby for those that are further. There are many places for dinner in the neighbourhood to choose and one of the best "gelateria" of Rome in our opinion called "La Romana"(via XX settembre). If you need any information or any problem you have, don't hesitate to ask the staff, they will be pleased to help you at any time. Definately a perfect stay!
