Trevi hotels & places to stay

We stayed here for two separate one nighters and we got a very good experience both times. The rooms were different for each night so we were able to see the executive suite and a triple superior room. This was for the superior triple. There was an elevator and the room was spacious. It was clean and got everything, amenities and all. The reception was not 24 hrs, but we informed them ahead that we'll be arriving a bit later than 7pm and they had someone to meet us. They also arranged our transport for early morning prior to their reception opening. They had a porter who was around at night but if we needed things like checking out, etc, then it was best to arrange ahead. We loved the location, it was just a few blocks to Trevi area and then the Spanish Steps. IT was a good base for exploring Rome, very very central and safe to walk in. Restaurants were steps away from the hotel. Best is that it was a smaller street off the main road so it was less busy.

This is a great place to stay that is exactly as described. Literally just steps away from the Trevi Fountain (unlike some other places that claim the same). The staff were great and it had everything I needed. Despite my window overlooking a busy street, it was very quiet with the window shut. The room had AC, which was nice. A very modern room with up-to-date fixtures. It was an excellent base from which to explore central Rome. Would stay there again on a future visit. One note; it is where it says it is, but the only sign is the name on the directory by the door bell.

If you are the kind of traveler where your priority is location over anything else, you can really enjoy the Roma resort Trevi is a good bet. The small apartments lend itself to a feeling of freedom and space. It is very nice to have a living room area, a substantially comfortable bedroom and a roomy bathroom with stall shower. The Barberini/Via Veneto can't be beat for easy access to two Roman legendary sights: TREVI FOUNTAIN & SPANISH STEPS, via Condotti and more. Clean, pleasant, air conditioned, free wi-fi, kitchenette, dishes and utensils, exceptional customer service by Suzi, and impeccable housekeeping. Please do not expect an exotic resort. The name is misleading, but do expect a "bang for your buck"

Hotel is in a great location - easy walk to everything (except maybe the vatican but that's a bit out of the way from the very center anyway!) It was nice to open the window and hear the hustle and bustle in the area and hear the Trevi fountain as well as see it in the morning and the evening! You can hear people out and about until around 1 or 2am but that didnt bother is at all. After a long day of walking and sightseeing nothing stops you from just passing out on the bed! The staff were very friendly and helped us out with any questions, always with a smile. There is a bit of a musty smell going up the stairs but not in our room so we didnt care. The only downside was that the shower frequently changed from cold to hot.

This apartment hotel is in an amazing position extremely close to the Trevi fountain and is modern, clean and well designed and thought out and provided us with an excellent spacious one bedroom apartment which had a large sofa bed for our teenage daughter in the living space with a balcony and the breakfast and mini bar inclusions were included were excellent. It has a modern lift which was great as we had lots of stuff - the rooms are modern and very comfortable.

Located just 130 steps from Fontana Di Trevi makes it a the perfect location for your visit. Rooms are fine, not so fancy, but clean. you can upgrade to the "Club rooms" but we didn't find it necessary. Breakfast is quite good comparing to what we're used to in Italy. Hotel staff is really great, thanks to Francesca who was charming and very service oriented. Would defiantly consider this hotel on future visits to Rome.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The studio apartment was delightful! It was spacious, with a large terrace, modern bathroom and kitchen, and modern lighting. Plus, the air conditioning worked very well. The hotel is situated between the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Getting the studio apartment was a much better choice than just a hotel room. There is no breakfast, but there are so many restaurants nearby that it doesn't matter. We loved coming back each evening to our cute little apartment/hotel!

My stay was not one of the best .. The hotel is fine .. Location is fine .. The price is worth it .. The management is just no good enough to know the customers right when someone book a room .. 8:30 in the morning we woke up with a jigger noise just exactly at the room next door .. We said ok its time to wake up .. We went out shopping then we went back at the room and found our room open .. Two man fixing the ac .. With no supervision from the staff hotel .. Our things were all exposed in the room .. And we couldnt go in our room to put our bags and do our needs .. This is not a service .. Never again to that hotel .

The hotel is very centrally located and only about a 2 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain. All major attractions are within easy walking distance. There are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants near the hotel. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The reception staff were pleasant, polite, knowledgeable and happy to help with any questions or the phoning of taxis. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was cleaned on a daily basis and fresh towels provided. There was a free safe provided in the wardrobe. Tea and coffee making facilities were also provided along with a fridge stocked with various drinks (charge applied for consumption of drinks). Breakfast was served in a rooftop conservatory. It consisted of fresh fruit, cereal, toast, pastries, scrambled egg, bacon and sausages. There was plenty to choose from and whatever we choose was very good. Great wee hotel.

Beautiful baroque rooms located next to Trevi Fountain. Rooms were clean and turned over every day. Very affordable considering the location. Minor things that need improving would be the mattess, and although breakfast in bed was delitious, checking with guests for any food allergies for breakfast would be ideal. Only minor things considering how great out stay was. Also be sure to go to the Osteria across the road for affordable and beautiful traditional roman food.

I had a wonderful stay here. Felt very welcomed by the hotel staff and was attended to whenever i needed help. The prices of the room were reasonable considering the close proximity to the trevi fountain and there are restaurants, a supermarket and many shops nearby the hotel. The main attractions are just a short ride away. The rooms are very clean and all the basic amenities available. I greatly reccomend this place for anyone coming to rome.

Situated only 100 yards from Trevi Fountain but in a quieter side road, this hotel is a real gem. I had a second-floor double room for single use with a large window with Juliet balcony opening onto the street (room 206). The window was double-glazed so there was very little street noise. The room was spacious, well decorated and furnished, and spotlessly clean. The room had air conditioning that could be temperature controlled. The room was quiet with no noise coming from other rooms. There are no lifts at the hotel and breakfast (continental) is served in your room at a time of your choice. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are numerous places to eat within yards of the hotel - recommend Chianti, one minute's walk towards the fountain - and lots of Rome's attractions are within walking distance. The nearest Metro (Barberini) is a 5min walk away. Would also recommend visiting the Roman ruins at Ostia Antica - take the Metro to Piramide then cross the platform to catch the overland train to Ostia, a 30 min ride - all for 1.50 Euro each way.

When planning our first trip to Rome, we wanted to stay close to the City Center. Domus Libera was the PERFECT location! Walking distance from the Trevi Fountain, Coliseum, Pantheon, etc. The guest house is a 40 minute drive from the airport but there is a car service available upon request which makes the trip very easy. The staff, accommodations, breakfast, and overall atmosphere made our 9 day stay amazing. Lorenzo is the best asset. He recommended the best restaurants, helped us book train tickets to our day trips, went out of his way to help us with everything. You can’t find that kind of service in the states. Fresh squeezed juices, cheeses, eggs, meats, breads, pastries, fruit and espresso for breakfast was delicious! The bathroom was as big as the bedroom and the mini bar is stocked daily and is complimentary. We loved walking all over the city so the 3 floors of narrow staircase was no problem. They do have a 2 person elevator. Would stay again!

We loved our short stay at Domus Trevi. What really stood out for us was the care and attention from Ralucca. Nothing was too much trouble like making reservations for dinner, to advising us how best to see Rome, to arranging taxi to the airport. Domus Trevi is in a great location walking distance to most attractions. Starting the day with great coffee and breakfast and ending the day at Piccolo arancio for dinner just a few steps away from Domus Trevi. What more could you ask for.

It was a very easy way to check in..perfect location just at the piazza Venezia. Within walking distances to all attractions. Very cool and friendly conversation by mail. If you have heavy luggage or health problems just be aware that it’s in the third floor and no elevator...three different sleeping rooms no living room...we were four and it was perfect but also good for 6 persons a..if you are not into a hotel this appartement is a perfect place. We would come back 😃

We found the Trevi Fountain Guesthouse to be warm and welcoming. I messaged ahead as we were arriving in Rome earlier than our check in time and they were happy to store our bags until the room was ready so we could go straight out and explore the city. The accommodation is centrally located being only a short walk from both the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. In fact we were able to walk to all the attractions in Rome without the need of transportation. The rooms were clean and complimentary toiletries were available in the bathroom. However the room was basic, There were only two hangers and minimal storage and the only mirror was in the bathroom. However saying this the room had reliable WiFi, a/c and the bed was comfortable, so a good nights sleep was had. On our final day they happily stored our bags and arranged for a taxi pick up to the airport If you are looking for a budget friendly, clean and welcoming place to stay you cannot fault the Trevi fountain guesthouse.

Excellent stay at Cenci B&B! You are literally steps from the Trevi fountain and a short walk to the Pantheon. We walked everywhere in Rome from this hotel, including to the Colosseum and the Vatican - so the location is ideal. The restaurants in the area are also amazing and affordable. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The rooms very very modern and tasteful with excellent bathrooms, heat, windows - all things you don't universally find in old buildings in historic European cities. Every morning a nice breakfast was served - typical for Italy very tasty fresh baked goods, fruit, meats cheeses - but not the eggs and bacon Americans may be used to. After staying in more expensive hotels in Florence and Venice (including a four-star luxury hotel suite) Cenci B&B was clearly the best value and our favorite hotel during our entire trip to Italy.

Location was perfect for Rome, near Trevi fountain. The lady at the front desk (apologies for forgetting name as review is being made 6 months after travel) was great, always a smile and very likable. Only reason ive given staff 3/5 is due to the lack of communication. I reported on the first of three nights stay that the TV doesnt work. one of the Porter ( Danny if i recall) after playing around with the buttons for 15 minutes decided it was a faulty box at the back and said a replacement will be ordered to be fitted next morning. Nothing next day or day after. On my last night i saw Danny at the lobby and mentioned that nothing had been done and not even a apology from him. He claimed he had a day off but that was no excuse as he should have made sure a replacement box was ordered and his colleague took ownership. As i said the lady at the front desk was brilliant but there was lack of communication among the staff.

This is the best location for anyone who wants to tour Rome by foot or by public transport! The best! First off, it's just a hop and a skip away from the Trevi Fountain - like about a minute or two at a comfortable walking pace. The Trevi Fountain is always swamped with tourists, so if you want to enjoy the experience with some peace and calm, you can conveniently go there early in the morning as if you're taking a stroll going to your backyard. The restaurant just below the hotel is quite popular for it's food. If you want to get a nice al fresco table, I suggest you either line up early or make a reservation - although reservations still end up in a first-come-first-served seating (the line is really that long!). There's also a lovely gelato store also just below the hotel in case you have a midnight snack craving - or you can choose from the many wonderful local restaurants the fills the entire street. There are a lot of leather, fashion, and souvenir shops around the area which makes shopping so convenient. The metro and bus stations are near the hotel in case you want to tour farther parts of Rome or the Vatican. Staff service is great! We were supposed to check in at 12 noon but they expedited the cleaning of our room which was just vacated by previous guests just so we can relax and settle down -- special thanks to Alvin, one of the hotel staff, who efficiently did the task with a sincere smile. :) We appreciate the maps they gave us and the many good tips on how we can go around Rome. The room is very spacious and so is the bed! We were able to sleep soundly without any disturbance too. :) We will definitely come back and book here in our next trip - this time with our kids.
