Where to stay in San Giovanni
San Giovanni hotels & accommodations
Lux Apartmenti were perfect for us. We were 2 couple on holidays through Europe, Rome was our last stop and having a self contained apartment each was great. It was a great size, nice and clean, fully equipped with cooking facilities, washer/dryer and A/con in both lounge & bedroom. Staff very helpful. Would recommend
The location is very good. Near Metro, and train station. You can get the train from the Fiumicino airport to Roma Tuscolana train stain and about 10 minutes a walk to the hotel. So the cost of getting into the city from the airport is very affordable. However, the front of the hotel is small, you have to remember the picture of the front of the hotel. It is exactl...
A couple of days before my flight to Rome, I was informed by M&L Apartment that the apartment (Ardesia) I booked had a faulty tap and they arranged for my family to stay in another apartment (Caracalla, Via Gallia 96) instead. So the above review ratings are for Caracalla apartment, NOT Ardesia. LOCATION The Caracalla apartment is quite a distance from the Metro (whi...
There are not that many apartments for rent in Rome, and this one was cheaper than the others so we were not sure how good it would be. It surpassed our expectations! I don't think the description does it justice. There are two rooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom is connected to a bathroom. The other bedroom is a reasonable size and the bathroom is located in t...
Comfortable 7 nights stay. Location is ok and not too far from the collseum and other key attractions. Don't expect too much guidance from staff on what to do and how to do it, but they were pleasant and polite. Only one staff member spoke English. Small place but nicely done. Would recommend!
My friend and I stayed here for 4 days and we had an overall excellent experience! We were welcomed by Giacomo--who gave us directions and maps, gave recommendations for places to eat. There were also available guidebooks in the reception area which you can borrow. The room and the adjacent bathroom and the kitchen were spotlessly clean and they were cleaned daily. The...
Superb location in San Giovanni. Many options to eat within walking distance.Grocery store nearby. Hotel new & very clean. Close to train station. Taxi drive from FCO airport is 48euros. Hotel does not have elevator but staff helped with luggage. Frederico was very helpful. Hotel is 20 minutes drive from Vatican, approx. 16-20 euros by taxi. Train is a cheaper option....
Rome is a pretty pricey place (bc of the city tax pppn) but this place makes it worth it. We stayed for three nights and we felt happy throughout the stay. If you want to get more for your money than staying in a hostel in town, this is the place for you!
We stayed at St John's Terrace for two nights while spending a 3 day weekend in Rome. We had a room with an external bathroom but private. The bedroom is nice and modern and everything was very clean. It is a big appartment with several rooms on a seventh floor with elevator. We arrived at around 10.30 am and already got the room available so we could leave our thing...
I would highly recommend this apartment! First of all, the location is very convenient: from the airport we arrived by train to a station which was at close distance from the apartment, as well as from the metro station and bus stops from where it is easy to reach the city centre. Secondly, the room is spacious, clean, modern, with your own shower. In the common area y...
It was a very nice place. Super comfortable bed. We loved having a bathroom and shower in the room with us.
After arriving in Rome on a hot autumn eveining and getting to the hotel we were given a warm welcome even though our flight had been delayed. Andreas was more than helpful giving us a map and circling what was best to see giving us bus and metro routes. Also we recommend whoever stays in Rome for liesure to get a ROMA PASS this was only 30euro's and was well worth it...
we had very happy stay with b&b a home for holiday. the apartment has only three rooms, it is therefore quiet to stay there. the owner is super helpful, lovely and friendly even though he couldn't speak so much english. he gave us the free map and guide book and showed us very carefully how to get to the visiting places. we got pick pocketed in rome and the owner a...
Even we arrived in the early morning to drop our lugguge, the landlord was kind and let us rest in the living room and using kitchen and the facility of the house freely. The room is nice and location is also great. I would like to return here again if I come to rome.
The beds are comfortable. The location is also comfortable for a good nite sleep. The price for the hotel is very reasonable too.
Even though it is not very near a metro station, the tram is conveniently located steps away from the accom. Only 3 stops or so to the Colosseum. Room is cleaned everyday, and lots of snacks for hungry guests.
The hotel is close to the metro station. The owner was very helpful. There is no reception. Contact the hotel about your arrival time.
The B&B is nice, clean and located very close to Re di Roma metro station (4 stations only from Termini). The area is quiet and nicely local. Room spacious and comfortable. The shared bathroom is very well-maintained and clean. Fast wifi, breakfast option very limited but can find many option around the place. Be mindful that they have specific time for check-in. T...
Everything was fine and as expected. Surprise that there was a tube in the room! Definitely enjoyed that.
