Where to stay in Jincheng
Jincheng hotels & accommodations

The staff was unbelievably great, very friendly and attentive, it was like being hosted by my own family. They helped me to plan my bike rides around Kinmen finding the places around the map (which seems to exist only written in Chinese, so having someone to translate them was very useful), and taking me out for tours and to restaurants (I was also there in a quiet per...

Quite centrally located in the old town centre of Jincheng, walking distance to central bus station, attractions in the town and lots of shops and restaurants. The room is clean, quiet and modernly renovated. The staff are super friendly and helpful, they love this island and like to share their knowledge with the guests.

Went there with my girlfriend there and it was an amazing experience. Grace was very nice and welcoming. Location wise it is quite convenient, but the houses at the area all look the same, so I’d recommend to give Grace a call for her to greet you in advance.

Mr Cai was a great host - he made sure we had a vegan breakfast and even helped us by giving us a lift in his car into the city center to help us find a restaurant. The facilities are very nice and clean. Bonus fun for learning the history of the home and finding the little secret rooms and hiding places.

This is my first time staying in a B&B. Transfer from the airport or ferry terminal is available on request. The owner was really friendly. She was patience to give road directions on how to reach the place and also offered to meet us at the village entrance. She was kind enough to let me chose the room I like and even allowed me to view all the rooms available there....

The establishment is considered pricey for a homestay, but the hotel is clean and new, it is well maintained too. Although, I think the owner did not put much thought when renovating the house. For example, all the available electrical ports are hidden behind the tv and the headboard of the bed, so there are only a limited two power ports on the ground, next to the ent...

We stayed at Piano Piano for four nights to get away from the hustle and bustle from the big city. It was our first time to visit Kinmen. We were pleasantly surprised by what we found on Kinmen: there are many interesting sites, which can be broadly divided in war monuments and relicts, and historic villages preserving the Fujian architecture. On top of that, the Littl...

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were the only guests so it was as if we had a little mansion to ourselves, which was really lovely (especially as there is not a lot to do in Kinmen after dark so it's good to have a comfortable place to hang out). It was beautifully decorated with modern comfort while still feeling 'antique' and of its era. The front yard was nice f...

Piano Piano III is a traditional Chinese Minnan (Fujian) style house beautifully renovated. High quality western and modern bedding and amenities are provided. The manager is extremely friendly and took time to brief me on the facilities, transport and sight-seeing. Free bananas, snacks and tea/coffee is available throughout the day. A self-catering kitchen is also ...

B&B II at no. 75 is a house with 5 guest rooms, court yard and dining room. When we arrived, they were changing the 6 year old mattresses to new ones. Tea Tree and Johnson & Johnson toiletries provided. Air con, hi-fi in room of international brands, but no TV. Breakfast of porridge and meatballs simple but delicious. Lodging is about 10 minute by bus from Jincheng t...

We originally booked the Minnan Inn II hotel because we wanted to be in Jincheng to visit friends. The map on the Agoda website shows it as being right in the centre of town. But when we got to Jincheng, we couldn't find anyone who would show us where it was - they all insisted on it being quite far away. Eventually we found a kind man who took us there and it was a 5 ...

It's my first time in Kinmen and I decided to stay at the Shuitou Village which is a change from the usual hotel chains/modern accommodations that I'm used to. This "mingsu", or Taiwan style B&B, is one of the few options we came across on the long weekend we were in Kinmen. There were def others that were better renovated and pretty than this place, but it's value f...
