Is a five stars hotel to me as my family members enjoy our stay at Hatten hotel. The bed is very comfy and the room is very clean with nice pool and city view. The toiletries comes with nice fragrant body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, shower caps, ear buds and sanitary bag. The toilet flash is strong and the shower area comes with overhead splash and standing splash. All in good working condition. The room air con is strong and there are two tv in my room. My son enjoys his private time watching his cartoons channel on a tv at a side bench. While me and my husband enjoy our movie on a bigger tv on our king size bed. The bedsheet, pillow cases and comforter are very clean and comfy. I am a light sleeper but I always manage to have a good sleep during my stay at Hatten hotel. The make up room staffs is very helpful and I like their services. (Remember to give them tips and compliments their good work ; as they really put in effort to maintain good standards in Hoüse keeping) There are some restaurants that I like to recommended to others. A Chinese restaurant at back alley on right side of a Muslim restaurant. They provide delicious Chinese local food. ( they close on every Wednesday). Another Chinese restaurant is the clay pot 肉骨茶. It is located on the back alley which is left side of the Muslim restaurant ; opp row. And beside the 肉骨茶餐厅，(a few shops on the right side of the restaurant ) there is a massage spa shop which provides Thai massage. Per Hoür only Rm 65. The messue is good to release your body stress and pain. Jonker street is only a 10-15 mins walk away from Hatten hotel. There is a western cafe named geography cafe. They provide fantastic pizzas. And is only Rm 20 per pizza. A must try dish is their 8 pcs big satay at Rm 18. I love to stay in Hatten hotel and I should say they really put in effort to make every one feels like staying at home in Melaka. Hatten hotel is a great hotel with friendly staffs and the room is very comfy. I stay in room 1773 with pool view & city view. It comes with king size bed which is big enough for my girl to sleep with me and my husband. The room is clean with strong aircon, the toilet 🚽 flash is strong, the shower 🚿 overhead and spray all are workable in good condition. It comes with good toiletries like the the body lotion is fragrant, the shower gel gives nice aroma smell. The shampoo and conditioner are nice too. Room comes with complimentary mineral water and slippers. The towels, bedsheet, pillow cases are all very clean and with no stain. The breakfast they provided are international buffet. They have western food like salad, fruits with ham. Wide selection of breads and pastries. They have cooking area on mee Soto, mee hoon Soto and eggs ect. They have delicious nasi lemak with curry chicken. Also have Chinese dishes like chicken porridge, buns ect. They provide nice coffee, milk tea and different types of juice. They also have cereals with milk for young children. The breakfast worth the price of Rm 20 for child and Rm 40 for adult. Remember to give the make up room staffs some tip before leaving as I know is not easy to maintain a good hotel standard during this pandemic period. Check-in was done in a flash. The room was smfresh and clean. Toilet was in good shape and well maintained . The room was inland facing which enriched our awe of vastness of the country. The gym operates at 0730hrs , which is a little late for my routine. Quite a few patrons were also queuing well before opening. Two of the treadmill machines were out of order. Weights were plentiful. The afternoon high tea at the lounge was pleasantly tasteful and of good variety. Breakfast dishes were replenished in timely fashion. There was a good variety of local dishes and fruits. Tablewares , fork and spoons were most clean. Coffee was exceptable to most but a few coffee-lover shunting it. The rooms were cleaned mostly on time with the exception of two of our friends’. They had to wait till late afternoon before room service came by. The emergency torchlight in my room was missing. Would be useful should the need arose . Complementary drinks in the room was of good variety ; cans of 3 variety of soft drinks were included. The hotel is well situated to other places of interest (St Paul’s Church, A-Farmosa, Jonker St, etc.) and shopping malls (Makota Parade and Palawan Mall). All these are within walking distance from the hotel. Staff in the hotel were always so helpful and courteous. A great bunch!😃 Will return to stay in the next visit to Malacca.

A memorable vacation ”
We booked 2 rooms. 1 Deluxe Suite & another Junior Suite. Travelled as a family of 5 adults & 3 children. Hotel location is perfect as it's in the heart of Malacca. Hotel is linked with shelter to Dataran Pahlawan Megamall & Mahkota Parade. Lots of nearby cafés & restaurants. There's an Indian coffeeshop nearby too. Within the hotel premises there's a 7-Eleven store, a kopitiam called 'Sebungkus', a café called 'Brew', a H&M store & there's even a massage parlour. So convenient, we patronized them all! Buffet breakfast at Chatterz was alright. The buffet spread & variety were satisfactory but it was especially crowded during the weekends so we had to queue for quite awhile. Rooms were clean, spacious & comfortable. We had 1 room with a pool view & the other with a sea view. Both views were amazing! Our rooms came with a sofa in each. Water heater & pressure were easy to adjust. The housekeeping staff on duty was kind & helpful, he'd ask if we'd like our rooms cleaned. Would've loved it even more if there was a bathtub in our bathroom. We went to the Alto Sky Lounge on the 22nd floor just to have a look & the staff there were very pleasant & friendly. They allowed us to walk around just to have a look & enjoy the view. Each staff greeted us when we walked passed them, they were genuinely courteous. The infinity pool was lovely. There's a pool for kids too. Would be perfect if they had a jacuzzi as well. Hotel staff were always ready to greet us, hold the doors for us & always had a smile on their face. Without having to ask, they even helped us bring our luggage to the coach bay, after we checked out! Overall, I highly recommend Hatten Hotel Melaka for your holiday. I'll definitely come back again! If there’s anything I'd like improved, it's their lifts. The waiting time for a lift really takes quite a long while. Would be great if they could look into improving it.
