We came in shortly after Christmas for a family holiday and fell in love with the place. Its absolutely faultless. In summary of our recent visit:- 1/ The pool/ water playground is sensational. My family and I spend hours at the pool because my child loved the slides and swimming in the pool. Its also the 1st hotel pool that has life guards (not that we needed it) but definitely pool security assurance exists. Absolutely 5 stars. You can rent their floatie for a reasonable price. 2/ Location is beach and pool perfect. If you want to go into George Town, its about a 30-40mins ride on Grab, pending traffic conditions. Costs between $29 - $40+ MYR pending time of the day and demand/ availability of Grab drivers. 3/ Highly recommend the buffet breakfast in the morning. There are an amazing selection of fresh, delicious foods and accompanying condiments for the porridge. The food types ranges from Malaysian, Chinese to Western foods. The line to obtain fresh cooked roti is long because its tasty and people tend to order many in one-go, haha! Some of the varieties differs daily like the curry. Their sambal is great! 4/ The room is really cool, with purple lights and pictures of rock stars. Ours had John Lennon. The size is perfect as is the cleanliness. The rooms are serviced daily - yay! Wish the pillows were not so soft, some firmness to it would be better for neck support. We would love to return to this hotel again. We loved every minute of our time at this hotel. It was a relaxing holiday, where we went to the pool after breakfast for the duration of our stay.

It's pretty great, 5 stars accommodation no doubt, but we've had better experiences in another hotel in Penang. Personally, I think the room rates here is a slightly on the higher side. The pool is great, kids would definitely enjoy the pools with the slides and everything. Sort of a mini water theme park. The rooms have nice ambience, carpeted, clean, reasonably spacious, has TV with a lot of channels and free movies. Location-wise is quite good, not too far from batu Ferringhi's night markets. In front of the hotel is a local restaurant with decent food with reasonable price that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The downsides are there are not many activities hosted by the hotel. Most other hotels in the area hosts activities such as karaoke night, games night, sand castle building, movies night, wildlife shows, etc. I don't think they do that here. So based on this I think it's not really for families with small kids, maybe their target is for couples on romantic getaway. If it's not because of the pool (slides & everything) I wouldn't say that it's a place suitable for families with small kids. One thing that bugs me is that the rooms are poorly lit. Like I said, maybe their concept is for romantic getaway. Maybe that's why the rooms have lack of lighting- it's too dim. Regardless of the cons, we still had a great time as a family. Other than the price being slightly over the top, I would highly recommend.

This is my 1st time coming here. It was an awesome memory for out anniversary and my daughter's birthday. We try almost all facilities here. It quite long review . Room- it was huge and spacious and we also had any extra bed.but still comfortable. the room environment that makes you don't want to leave them room. Staff and hotel decorations- all staf are friendly and helpful. The hotel environment was encredible and lots of OOTD area. Food - i have tried the breakfast and dinner buffet (Saturday). The food was delicious and tasty. Got variety of foods Pool and beach - easy acces to the beach. The pool was so nice and kids will love it. The are some pool area filled with sands so that you don't have to go to the beach. Outside environment - got A lot of spa, restaurant, near to pasar malam Rock spa- quite pricey but it was good. I bring my daughter too. She had manicure and pedicure while me having massage. Overall. Excellent. Keep up the good work. Definitely come again.tq

The room is spacious, clean and has a great view. I really enjoyed their sea view suites and free access to Rock Royalt. They prepared cakes, chocolates and balloons for our anniversary and my birthday. We appreciate the efforts of the reservation team. It was such a great experience. The staff there are all very friendly and helpful. Enjoy the benefits of Rock Royalt as the lounge is amazing. We are enjoying the facilities of the VIP lounge. It was great to have a delicious breakfast, refreshing afternoon tea and delightful evening cocktails. My experience during my stay was very good and awesome! Will definitely bring my kids here on my next trip.
