"The place works. It is off a road in the middle of no where --but 1 minute from the airport. That is its best feature. We had to be at the airport for a 6AM flight. This is the only place to stay. That said, there is no place to go to to get a bite or to have a drink. The restaurant and bar at the hotel are not very comfortable. You are condemned to your room. There is no other place to go. We wanted to play cards, relax, have a drink, grab a bite --you can't comfortably do that there. That's it. Safe travels. "

"Close to the sea, close to the bus station (a 10 min. ride to the center of Catania for 1€, tickets available at Arcobaleno). There is always staff in the hotel lobby, so why not sell bus tickets as an extra service? A very extensive breakfast, but we missed an assortment of non-sweet bread. Consumption in the pool bar was a bit pricey, e.g. a small coke €5, bottle of water €4. Very nice garden, impressive lobby, valet parking. A wall of plants results in dark rooms/balconies. Choose a room facing the pool (!) on the second floor if possible. We stayed 7 nights (booked in advance) "

Taxi shuttle is 20 euro for 2ks drive, which after booking a "taxi " got this. All in all a over priced hotel close to the air port with no beach that is swimable , really expensive food, no internet and a small pool"

"Although it was very early in the season (beginning of March) the place was very run down looking with all the facilities closed except the restaurant, there were even a couple of abandoned cars on site. The chalet room was adequate although the toilet was no longer fixed to the floor and the door to the bathroom didn't shut. The whole place needs a lot of work doing to it. We ate in the restaurant only on the first evening, the pasta dish was bland and we were each charged 3 Euros to sit at the table, bit out of order for guests. We ate just across the road at the Miramare Hotel and at the service station cafe, both of which provided an excellent selection of lovely food and did not charge for seating! "
