We were cycling around Taiwan and just got back from Xiaoliuqiu. Therefore, we had two bike with us. The host had saved a place for our bikes previously and also very gernerously upgraded our room. It was AN AWESOME ROOM!! We had a very good night sleep. Dong-Gung is a very special place full of energy day and night. Definitely going back!
The hotel is just remodeled in the beginning of this year. Very nice hotal. It's located near train station and close to night market. Room is big, comfortable and with great value. You won't feel anything bad for the hotel. All rooms are at 9F and 10F. Therefore, quiet even at the center of city.

it is near to LinBian train station - about 5 - 10 minutes walk, quite a cheap and good option to stay in Pin Dong area. Clean & comfortable as well.

Honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our trip. The place was spotless...very very clean. Mr and Mrs Xu were some of the kindest hosts ever. They helped us buy dinner and picked us up on their scooters from the bus station. They honestly treated us like family. They cannot speak English though but please don't let that put you off. Use Google translate 😀
The owner, Jane, is so friendly and accommodating. The whole place is so beautifully and carefully designed. I think it is unlike any other place in Donggang. The location is good and not too far from the main street and restaurants. It's a great place to stay if you're going deep-sea fishing or visiting Xiao Liuqiu.

They even will get you breakfast based off what you like or dislike. Also you have free access to bikes if you decide. I have no cons at all. This is the first time to stay in a motel. It is really a nice stay. The rooms(actually a whole flat) are clean. The bathroom is fully equipped and functional. As we are not driving, the location is quite difficult to reach. It is really great for car drivers. The price is reasonable.
Everything was good except the smell. Maybe the previous guest smoked in the room. The room was non-smoking room but smelled like an ash tray. So we opened the window all day long, so the smell was gone, but many mosquitoes came in. Because the window(facing next building's wall)had no mosquito-net.
