"I’m kind of shocked that this place has SUCH wonderful reviews… 9.4 ‘exceptional’ I would not class it. We spent two nights here on arrival into Ostuni. As described by other reviewers there are a myriad of DO NOT DO THIS signs everywhere you look – in the hallways, in the lift, in your bathroom, in the bedroom – everywhere. The location is perfect for exploring Ostuni centre – 2 mins up the road and you’re in the thick of it. The room was big and clean, and breakfast was limited but ok. The pool was somewhat of a disappointment – from the pics it looks like it is an inviting turquoise haven, but in reality it looks more like something you might find at the zoo. All rather dirty, it looks like it needs a good scrub. The main gripe for us was at check-out, which was clearly stated as 10:30am on our booking confirmation. However, at 10am (and then again 20 mins later) we had a hurried knock at the door asking us to leave as new guests were arriving. "
