We stayed there for a total of 3 nights (2 nights when we landed and one more before our take off). Located very close to the city center of Catania and offer modern and clean rooms for a fair price. Nothing to compare to other hotels around.

The staff buzzed us in through the imposing wooden doors, walking us through a large, friendly courtyard to the office for a quick and easy check-in process. The hotel is good but on arrival I wasnt given the room I had booked for and was transferred to another hotel for the first night which had a great quantity of steps. The hotel said that the room for the first night was a small room so not good for me. I got the room the next morning at about 1015 am .
The service was excellent. The owner was very friendly, helpful and extremely polite (I had a key accident on the street door around 4 am and the owner was very kind even if he was sleeping) . The room was large and it had a private bathroom. Very good breakfast spread in the morning. I strongly reccomended this place.
My stay at Da Gianni e Lucia was great. It's in a very authentic builing, right in the centre of everything. Gianni is extremely knowlegeable and helpful. The breakfast sets one up for the day. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

You feel right at home in this charming apartment. The main door downstairs is a challenge to open so make sure you have Claudia show you the trick. Also getting into the parking lot is a very tight maneuver and there's a charge of 5€/day for the space.

Have stayed several times at this well located hotel. Large rooms, well furnished with good bathrooms. Nice restaurant overlooking the sea, quality breakfast.
