The Cherish hotel is a suitable place for my family's recent New Year trip. 1. Accommodation: - The family room consists of 2 separate rooms (1 room with a large bed, 1 room with 2 single beds), both have 2 private bathrooms (spacious sink, large mirror, bathtub, no separate shower area), fully equipped (wardrobe, refrigerator, TV, dressing table with a large mirror), and there are 2 entrance cards for both rooms. The rooms are connected, with a solid door. - The room is cleaned daily, with a convenient tissue box available for use and always a bottle of filtered water offered on the table, refilled each day. 2. Common space - staff - The reception area is spacious, bright, and has comfortable seating, suitable while waiting for a vehicle. - The hallway on the floor is small but clean and bright. - The staff is enthusiastic, cheerful, and polite; if needing to rent a motorcycle, you can contact them directly for assistance. I rented a new, clean scooter for 200k/day, however after receiving the bike, you need to go refuel immediately because the rental place does not provide any gas, unlike previous rentals from other places where they had gas ready. It’s more convenient to refuel after returning it. 3. Breakfast buffet - Dinner - Breakfast buffet - Camelia restaurant: A diverse breakfast selection, mainly Western-style dishes, which seems to cater to the majority of guests here. There are still noodles, fried rice, etc., but the chicken pho uses broth with cinnamon, star anise, and cardamom, which is a very unusual flavor. - Dinner - Cherish restaurant: If it just ends here, I would give the hotel a perfect score of 10, but we happened to make a decision that affected our cheerful spirit and experience here. Since we traveled during Tết and that day was the first day of the new year, we decided to book dinner at the hotel. I ordered 2 servings of menu 2 with very attractive Vietnamese dishes for 350k/menu and a total of 700k for 2 servings. It's acceptable that the dishes might change daily and seasonally, and we even requested to substitute a few items like crab soup because we couldn't eat it. However, the food served looked scant, was somewhat cold, and oily. Particularly, we were served stale rice - old rice. When we discovered this and provided feedback to the staff, after a while, the waiter brought out fresh hot rice as a replacement. The new rice was taken from a large pot, and the old rice was dumped back into a small pot - the same pot they initially used to serve us. After finishing the meal, when we were asked for payment, they only remembered to charge us and forgot to bring the dessert out. However, regarding pricing, service attitude, and our experience from this trip, we rated it quite well. The location is convenient, right on the main road, and close to the center and eateries. The only downside is the Cherish restaurant; the dining experience there was very poor!
