"First time stayed in the same hotel for 2 weeks. Due to MCO, I was stranded in Singapore as we were not able to go back to my hometown-JB. I checked in to ST Signature Tanjung Pagar on 17 Mar and since then, I continued my stay at ST Signature Tanjung Pagar till 30 Mar 2020 for their wonderful customer service. I am impressed by the responsive customer service from the host, housekeeper and the manager. They did their very best to serve their customers. Feedback and suggestions were taken seriously by the Hotel Manager. I communicated to the hotel manager regarding how she can enhance the personal hygiene at shared toilet when she came to solve my room wifi connection problem. I suggested to her that it will be better if we can have the hand sanitiser at the hair blowing area outside the shared toilets. The next days, 2 bottles of hand sanitisers are placed on level 2 & 3. "I booked a deluxe room at the new Oasia Hotel for a small break from our routine here in Singapore. I've watched the building go up and I was curious as to what the inside looked like, and was also intrigued by the hotel's "club". Overall it was a 4 star experience - here's what I liked and what could be improved. The good: The staff were perfect and were kind enough to send us chocolates. That's always good. The room was on the smaller side, but everything clicks into place and was finished with a good attention to detail. The bed was comfy and clean. I liked the light switches on both sides of the bed. The shower was powerful and the towels were so nice and fluffy. The gym looked great. The eggs and juice at breakfast were nice. The average: We booked the room for half price, as they were having an opening deal. Even at half of the normal price, I felt like we did not quite receive the level of luxury expected from a luxury hotel. It felt like a nice business hotel. The pool felt pretty small (which can't be changed) and cold (which might be a good thing here in SG). The keycards won't work in the elevators or doors unless you press them all the way against the reader. Breakfast was $20 each, and wasn't particularly good. Either the milk or the coffee tasted funky - I'd hope for some tastier stuff at a place like this. I'd save your money for some of the good cafes nearby. Overall, I would recommend this for business travelers. Perhaps regular life in Singapore has pampered me so much that my expectations for luxury are too high. "

"Just experienced the newly opened Capri by Fraser China Square, which is located in between the CBD and Chinatown. Location is the key for this hotel as there are a number of MRT stations within walking distance. And being located in both CBD and Chinatown, there are a lot of eateries around the hotel. As a Singaporean, the hotel was built on a small plot of space which used to be a water fountain and I initially didn't expect the rooms to be too big. But after checking into my room, I was impressed to find the room was pretty spacious. And I guess being a Capri brand, all the rooms come with a microwave and a small kitchenette, which makes long stay a perk or for those who prefers to dine in, as plates, utensils are all provided in the room, even in the basic Superior room, which I'd stayed in. Touted as a high tech hotel, there are a lot of amenities that suits the well travelled or the younger generation. Appreciates the number of international power plugs, and the more that usual "

"Long story short, I just couldn't bring myself to sleep in a 1 star dorm at Bugis so I checked out, bringing my two friends out with me. (I didn't want to share a room with three other men as they were it of rooms, nor did I want to share a toilet with strangers). Booked a last minute room on agoda. The three of us checked in at 12am. The receptionist was friendly and hospitable. Didn't look down upon the three sweaty girls who had made their way from Bugis to Carlton City with their backpacks behind them. She spoke to us politely, not condescending unlike some other 4&5 star hotels I've been to. She didn't even charge us extra for the third person, though prepared to pay another bomb. The room is spacious and clean. The best part was the immense water pressure that came down upon us when we took our shower after a long day. The only problem we had the next morning was to find that the water heater wasn't working. We didn't have a chance to tell the manager as we had to check out early anyway. It's a walking distance away from hipster cafes to which we managed to cafe-hop. All in all, my experience there, albeit short, was unforgettable. "

"The place literally stunned us. Even though its position is between many skyscrapers and there’s no open view (at least from our window), rooms were spacious and absolutely comfortable. To be honest, we were not expecting this degree of cleanliness. We also tried some items for breakfast, with a good choice of delicious options. The place is walking distance from Marina Bay, which is always nice to visit both during the day and in the evening. "
