Good hotel very near to the Vatican City”

This is almost a mile walk from Vatican City, St Peter’s Bascilica. The rooms were decently spacious and the washroom size was also okay. There is no cafeteria/restaurant of the hotel. I am not sure if it was a policy but the rooms were not cleaned in between our 3 nights stay. The staff is very cordial and helpful and they explained us everything on navigating and exploring the area around. Full marks to the staff. The hotel could improve on facilities such as providing adequate toileteries (we were provided with just 2 tiny bodywash bottles for 3 nights stay !!) There is roof access provided with decent area to sit, smoke, eat food , or just relax. You can order/get food from outside and eat here.

Budget Hotel close to The Vatican, Rome”

As far as budget hotels go I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel. The hotel was basic, a little old fashioned in its decor but clean and friendly. The location is great , really close to the Vatican. The bridges to the centre of the city are a few hundred metres away and allow easy walking access to all the cities main attractions. Rome is a wonderful city to walk.. The district of Prati where the hotel is located is full of nice places to eat and drink. One suggestion if using this hotel, Ask for a room away from the road at the back of the hotel which can be a bit noisy into the early hours on a weekend and when people start to drive into the city in the morning. We went in March so didn't really need to have to the windows open so this kept the noise level to a reasonable level but if visiting in Summer the windows would need to be open as there was no air con and it may be a bit noisy. Booking in on arrival is before 8pm and if you arrive after this time you will need to make a phone call to get into the hotel. Our flight was delayed and we had to do this but it really wasn't a problem as we were dealt with really quickly. All in all a positive experience. I would use the hotel again.

Good location--that is all”

The only good thing about the hotel is its location--it is within walking distance of some tourist spots like the Vatican. If you just need a place to sleep in & showetr, this will do. Do not expect them to ckean your room because they do not. Read the fine print regarding check in--there are no staff to let you in after 8 PM. The hotel is in a building where you need a key to get into a building. We arrived in Rome around 9 PM & were told we could not check in until 8 AM of the next day, so we just stayed in the airport & were not able to sleep. We did not get a refund for the night we missed. The main light in our room was busted--we informed the desk person about it but nothing was done though we stayed in the hotel for 5 days. We just used the light from the bathroom when we needed to see things in the bedroom. The confirmation indicated that we get free drinking water but we never got any. The water in the nearby mini grocery sold for 3 euros for 1.5 liters. Better buy your water in the groceries near the Vatican--just 0.60 cents for 1.5 liters. Wifi is also intermittent in the 4th floor where our room was. Make sure you have your own wifi.

Good place, well located”

We were a group of 3. My parents and I shared a triple room. Nice place, very clean, a little bit noise as you can hear all the cars and noise from the street. for the check in, when u arrive to the place take the stairs or elevator and go to the first floor, there you will find the reception. This place does not allow food in the room at all but you can buy and go to eat in the 4th floor in the terrace. Place is well located, very close yo restaurants and vatican area.
